Gone are those days when Barcelona dominated world football. However, now the club is in a rebuilding phase with Xavi at the helm. Moreover, Club president Laporta has promised the fans to bring back the lost glory days, and he made a positive start for the same with Xavi’s appointment.

On the same page with the same ambition, Xavi brought back former player, Dani Alves, hoping to make utmost use of his history with the club. “I don’t rule anything out. It happened with Dani, age is a number. They’re two great players. I can’t predict what will happen tomorrow, they’re still playing & contracted to other clubs. You never know,” said Laporta.

The return of Messi would do wonders for the club’s young stars, with Gavi, Pedri, and Ansu Fati coming through the ranks over the last few seasons. Another name drawn into the conversation is a club legend, Andres Iniesta.
