Cristiano Ronaldo is inarguably one of the greatest players of all time. His contributions for his clubs and his country have shown time and again that he always steps up when it matters the most, and he’ll have to do it again in December.
The Qatar World Cup is one of the biggest events of this calendar year, and Portugal almost didn’t make it to the tournament. It took them two Play-off wins to reach the prestigious competition, and it might be Ronaldo’s last one ever.

Kaka talks about Ronaldo’s future
However, his former Real Madrid teammate, Kaka, wants more. The Brazilian legend spoke about Ronaldo’s future in an interview with FIFA and revealed that he wants to see Ronaldo play three more World Cups. Kaka wished him the best for this edition of the tournament too and showed his love for the Portuguese superstar.
“I wish he could play another three World Cups. I hope he has great results in this one too and can calmly decide about his future,” Kaka said.
Kaka is a former World Cup winner himself, as he won the lot with Brazil in 2002. 20 years later, Ronaldo would try to emulate his victory, and he won’t lack any motivation to do so.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his mentality in the World Cup
The former Ballon d’Or winner joined Real Madrid in the same transfer window as Ronaldo and knows a lot about the Manchester United forward. Kaka revealed that Ronaldo’s future depends on his ability to motivate himself, and the fact that he is playing his fifth World Cup says a lot about his mentality.
“Over the next few years, it will depend on how he is physically, how he will be able to cope, motivate himself. He is going to his fifth World Cup. These are spectacular numbers that prove a little of what we see from him: this very strong mentality, (that he is) a winner and extremely competitive,” he added.
