Real Madrid is still Europe’s premium destination for any young football star. An array of high-profile players have publicly said that they aspire to play for Los Blancos. Despite Real Madrid’s recent lack of sporting dominance, the fact that a superstar like Kylian Mbappe was desperate to leave PSG speaks volumes about the club’s reputation.

With Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid rumors being at their peak, an interaction between Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe during last night’s Nations League Semifinal has set more fire to the rumors.

Mbappe’s current contract ends at the end of the season. This means that the 22-year-old could leave on a free transfer. As a result, the World Cup champion may play at Madrid with international teammate Karim Benzema and Belgium winger Eden Hazard next season.

Last night, according to El Partidazo on Cadena Cope radio, Eden Hazard seemed to shout ‘Hala Madrid’ to PSG’s Mbappe during Belgium’s match against France. While there is confirmation of the claim, whatever Hazard said made Mbappe chuckle, and he smirked to himself as he prepared for the encounter.

Karim Benzema claims that Mbappe will play for Real Madrid next season

In a recent interview, Mbappe’s France teammate Karim Benzema confirmed that Kylian will join Real Madrid. Mbappe allegedly told Benzema that a move was on the cards at some time in his career.

Benzema said“He [Kylian Mbappé] said it himself. He wants to see and experience something else and he will play for Real Madrid someday, I don’t know when, but he will come. It’s just a matter of time.”
