Harry Kane is arguably one of the best strikers in the world right now. The English marksman is not only a poacher but over the years has developed a creative side to his game often creating opportunities for his teammates.

Kane certainly has proved his class with multiple golden boots in the Premier League and breaking multiple records. But the 28-year-old’s record-breaking goal scoring hasn’t resulted in much silverware much to the frustration of Kane.

City fan spotted trying to convince Harry Kane to join against Tottenham

Given the ever-increasing frustration of Kane, rumors of a potential departure for the English captain has sky-rocketed. A clear favorite in Manchester City have emerged as a potential suitor. City at the start of the season saw one of their biggest club legends in Sergio Aguero leave the club.

While Gabriel Jesus is a world-class player in his own right, manager Pep Guardiola hasn’t had all the trust on the Brazilian and prefers a rotational role for the forward. Given City’s play style, Harry Kane seems to be an obvious choice. With his impeccable finishing and impressive playmaking skills, the English captain is a natural fit in the lineup.

In the Cityzens season opener against Tottenham, City fans were at it again. During the game, a young City fan pulled up a banner to for Harry Kane with the sentence, “Kane come to City to ease your pain.”

City certainly had a game to forget against the Spurs and a need for a striker was pretty evident. While the ‘False 9’ formation worked wonders for City last season, against the Lily Whites, City missed the cutting edge finishing.

While they had a rough start to their season, a big boost for City and its fans was seeing the exclusion of Kane from the lineup. With Kane out of the rotation, a potential push for a transfer might be at works.
