Cristiano Ronaldo has been at the peak of his career, both physically and commercially. Notably, the Portuguese forward, who has routinely featured in the top 10 rankings of the richest athletes in the world, has now started another business venture, which is likely to bag him a lot of money, as always.

The Manchester United superstar has opened a new Pestana CR7 Hotel in central Madrid. This follows the opening of two other Pestana hotels in Portugal, namely in Funchal and Lisbon, which have been extremely successful.

The Portuguese forward also has a clothing brand and a luxury underwear line to go with his multiple million-dollar trade deals.

Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus in 2018; but after spending 9 years in the Spanish capital, he seemingly cannot let go of the Madrid life. His latest hotel was termed as the “ultimate urban playground” by the Pestana CR7’s official account in an Instagram post, showing off the beautiful structure.

“Take a closer look… This is @pestanacr7granviamadrid, the ultimate urban playground in the heart of Madrid! Book now and get ready for the time of your life!” the caption to the Instagram post said.

The hotel indeed looks amazing, matching the high standards set by the other two Pestana hotels. It is positioned along the Gran Via, one of the grandest areas in Madrid, and is meant to be the new social hub of the city.

Ronaldo and his performances on the pitch

Like his business life, Ronaldo’s performances on the pitch are also showing a lot of promise. The Portuguese forward is Manchester United’s top scorer this season and aims to bring a trophy back to Old Trafford.

He has scored six goals in five UEFA Champions League games and it’ll be interesting to see if he can propel this team to the one trophy he craves the most.
