The USMNT are preparing for the World Cup in Qatar as they try to make an impression on the rest of the World. They couldn’t make it to the competition in 2018, but the team has improved a lot in the past four years.
Several USMNT superstars are now playing in European leagues, and Gregg Berhalter has a lot of decisions to make. These next six months would determine and shape the entire USMNT squad. As a result, the friendlies in June will be very important for the team.
The USMNT are playing two friendlies against Morocco and Uruguay. The first friendly against Morocco will be played on the 1st of June at 7:30 PM ET. The match will be played at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The friendly match will be streamed on TV in the USA on ESPN 2, UniMas, and TUDN.

The USMNT roster for the match
Gregg Berhalter has gone with his strongest squad for the team with the exception of Giovanni Reyna and Sergino Dest. Both of them have been injured and will take some time to recover. Moreover, they are also going to miss the Nations League matches for the USMNT in the late end of June.
However, Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie are there in the squad. Pulisic will try and shrug off another disappointing season in the Premier League and find his form for his nation. On the other hand, McKennie is returning after a long-term injury and would like to get his match fitness back.

USMNT’s prospects at the World Cup in Qatar
Berhalter would use this opportunity to determine the two problem positions in the USMNT squad, a striker and a goalkeeper. Manchester City shot-stopper Zack Steffen is missing from the squad due to family reasons and, as a result, Matt Turner would get the chance to prove himself.
