Christian Pulisic was one of the most exciting youngsters in the world of football a few seasons ago. He was playing for Dortmund and was already an established star for the USMNT. However, at the age of 23, his career hasn’t progressed like he would have wanted it to.
The forward is playing in the Premier League for Chelsea after a $60 million move in 2019. Since then, he has failed to register over 10 goals in all three seasons and still doesn’t have a spot in manager Thomas Tuchel’s starting eleven.

Being such a high-profile star from America, there has been a lot of discussion about his future. However, it looks like all of that is finally being resolved.
Chelsea targets replacements for Lukaku and Pulisic
Pulisic has been linked with a move away from Chelsea. Although, he is not the only forward to struggle at the club. Club signings Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, and Hakim Ziyech have had a similarly poor time at the club during their tenure. However, Werner does start over with Pulisic.
Now, Chelsea is targeting reinforcements for next season. According to a report from ESPN, the Blues are looking to sign Robert Lewandowski to replace the departing Lukaku, and one of three wingers to replace Pulisic. Ousmane Dembele, Raheem Sterling, and Everton’s Richarlison are the three players on the club’s shortlist.

As a result, a move away from Chelsea would make sense for all parties. However, the London club might not let him go permanently, and hence, a loan move would be the best bet for Pulisic. In the end, only time will tell where he’s going to play next season.
