USMNT captain and Chelsea superstar Christian Pulisic has a huge burden on his hands. The 22-year-old is the captain of his country’s football team and has already led his team to several trophies, which begets the question, is he the best American soccer player of all time?

The current American football team is the best the country has had in years. Stars like Weston McKinnie and Miles Robinson are good leaders and mix well with the other members of the squad. However, make no mistake, this is Pulisic’s team.

The American footballer moved to Chelsea in a 60 million euro move from Dortmund in 2019. Ever since then, he hasn’t had the best time at the club after suffering from some injuries. Nevertheless, in those two seasons, he has won the biggest competition in the world of club football, the UEFA Champions League.

Pulisic has been on fire in the Premier League as well as he now holds the record for the fastest American to reach 10 Premier League goals. He also has a “Perfect” hat-trick in the Premier League, being the first American to do so since Clint Dempsey.

However, his form for his country sets him apart from all his other American counterparts and legends like Dempsey and Tim Howard.
