In recent years, Manchester City have truly proven that they are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Pep Guardiola’s men have completely dominated the competition domestically, and Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero played a huge role in that.
The former Atletico Madrid star stayed at City for over 10 years and became a fan favorite at the club. His iconic last-minute winner against Queens Park Rangers remains the greatest goal in the history of the Premier League. Sergio Aguero and his retirement
All jokes aside, Aguero’s retirement was one of the saddest moments for anyone who loves the sport. The talented forward was still only 33 and had a lot of time on his side. He had recently joined FC Barcelona and had started well at the club.

However, it was apparent in their UCL semi-final tie against Real Madrid. They were just minutes away from victory before Rodrygo scored two late goals to take the tie to extra time. Karim Benzema finished the comeback after slotting a penalty past Ederson.
