Manchester United fans must not be happy with the club this season as they have failed to win any trophies at all. It’s the fifth year in a row that the club has failed to win anything, and the players have been largely inconsistent and mediocre at times.
Currently, the club is looking for a new manager and reportedly conducted interviews with Ajax manager, Erik Ten Hag and Paris Saint Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino. Poch was on the top of their wishlist just a few months ago, but his performance with PSG has severely dropped his stock.
Notably, while Ten Hag is reportedly the current first choice, Spain’s National team manager, Luis Enrique is also in tow.

Luis Enrique reveals his plans for the future
Enrique has a great CV after winning the UEFA Champions League with FC Barcelona and several La Liga titles. Moreover, his Spanish side has over-performed and looked pretty good at all times, even though they haven’t won anything yet.
That could change this year after the World Cup in Qatar. Spain’s national team are in great form right now and can capitalize on this momentum under Enrique. The Spaniard spoke about his future in an interview and revealed that he’s not leaving his job for Manchester United any time soon. However, he left things open by saying that he might change his mind after the World Cup.
“I will be in Qatar with Spain because I have given my word and there is nothing that makes me more excited than representing my own country in the world cup. Later we’ll see,” Enrique said.
