Real Madrid is looking to sign Donny van de Beek
The Dutchman has had a torrid time at Manchester United, as he has spent most of his time on the bench. He has failed to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting eleven, and as a result, his talents are wasted. Hence, the player is reportedly extremely unhappy at the club and is looking for a way out.
Notably, Madrid were linked with him ever since 2019, just before he moved to Manchester United. Van de Beek had broken into the top 30 of the Ballon D’Or rankings in 2019 for his performances with AFC Ajax and was looking like a superstar for the future.
Not to forget, that incredible Ajax team also knocked Real Madrid out of the UEFA Champions League on their way to the semi-finals of the competition, and van de Beek was a huge part of that squad. Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has shown a tendency towards playing his players in the traditional CAM (Central Attacking Midfielder) role and the Dutchman will fit perfectly in the team.

However, Madrid is stacked in the midfield department with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Isco, and Asensio, all capable of playing in that role. Regardless, van de Beek is in desperate need of some playing time, and if he can find that at Real Madrid, the club would take him in a heartbeat.
Donny van de Beek situation is so clear. He loves the club and he’s still super professional in training, doing his best for Man Utd – but if the situation remains the same, he will leave Manchester United in January. 🔴🇳🇱 #MUFC
