There are very few players in the world of football who have the flair that Neymar Jr possesses. The 30-year-old has captivated fans with his skills and tricks and is one of the most famous athletes on the planet, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
However, despite his talent and superstar profile, Neymar has failed to win the Ballon d’Or. Currently playing for Paris Saint Germain, the Brazilian’s best days came with FC Barcelona where he formed a part of a fearsome trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
That form saw him become the most expensive player in the history of football when PSG signed him. However, the move hasn’t worked out as well as it could have.

Ander Herrera loves to play with Neymar Jr
Neymar’s and PSG’s futures have been linked together as both he and his club have underperformed. Nevertheless, PSG has assembled an incredible squad around Neymar with the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Ramos among others.
One of these stars is Spanish midfielder, Ander Herrera. The former Manchester United star spoke about Neymar in an interview with AS. He revealed that he has a great relationship with the Brazilian winger and speculated that Neymar can still win a Ballon d’Or in the future.
“I am very friendly with him. He is a great teammate and as a footballer, he is in the world’s top five. I thought that he would already have a Ballon d’Or, but I don’t rule it out yet. It is a joy to be with him,” Herrera said.
