Mauricio Pochettino wants Manchester United job
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss is currently managing star-studded French side PSG. To no surprise, they are leading the Ligue 1 table and look set to win the title again. However, with the sacking of Solskjaer, many reports state that Pochettino is eyeing a return to the Premier League.
Even though the coach is focused on their tie against Manchester City, Sky Sports pundit and former United player Gary Neville spoke about the situation and how he feels.
“I think Mauricio Pochettino – although he’d never say it – would leave to come to Man Utd on a five-year deal tomorrow. He’ look at that group of players, he’d look at the club and he’d realise he’d probably be able to achieve more than he wants at Manchester United in terms of a project,” said Neville.

Will he get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo?

Even though he did not win anything significant with Spurs, he laid the foundation then to make Spurs a part of the ‘Big 6’ today.

Currently coaching Messi at PSG, the prospect of managing Cristiano Ronaldo would be a mouthwatering idea. Undoubtedly, Ronaldo will benefit massively under Pochettino’s counter-attacking approach. However, his pressing style is something that will be a cause of concern for CR7.
During the Ole era, Ronaldo’s lack of pressing was evident, causing the team to lose shape. Given how Poch focuses on high-intensity pressing, Ronaldo’s lack of work rate might hamper his progress.
