The world of football is growing exponentially in the financial world, and as a direct consequence, footballers are earning more money by the day. Neymar Jr’s move to Paris Saint Germain caused inflation in the market, which will never really go away, and it’s their other superstar who might change it all again, Kylian Mbappe.
The French world cup winner has been one of the best players in the world for quite some time now, and he’s still only 23. Mbappe has at least 10 more years left to play at the top of his game, and the PSG star will be a huge asset for any club that has him.
That would explain why PSG are doing everything they can to try and keep him at the club as the Frenchman’s contract expires in five months. Moreover, Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, and the Spanish club even made a 200 million dollar bid for him last summer, which PSG surprisingly rejected.

Mbappe moves closer to signing for Real Madrid
In another attempt to keep Mbappe at the club, PSG reportedly gave him a blank cheque and offered to pay him over a million euros every week. This deal would have made him the highest-paid player on the planet, but according to MARCA, Mbappe has refused to sign the deal.
The publication also revealed that PSG offered to increase Mbappe’s contract by two more years and the Frenchman would be allowed to leave the club after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar because the club’s ownership is from Qatar. However, Mbappe rejected the offer and is now closer to a move to Real Madrid than ever before.
