Paris is one of the best, richest cities in Europe, and it’s only fair that the city’s football team is similarly bejeweled. PSG have assembled a squad that would put the Avengers to shame, and in that dressing room of huge superstars, a beautiful kit is a must.
Paris Saint Germain have the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Sergio Ramos on their roster (not to forget Neymar Jr) and are sponsored by Jordan, a Nike brand, and they are the only European club to have it. Their kits are almost always beautiful, and they just dropped their 4th kit for the 2021-22 season.

Paris Saint Germain stars pose with Jordan kits, except Lionel Messi
In the kit launch for the #PSGxJordan campaign, several stars from the PSG men’s and women’s teams posed to take a few pictures. Those included players like Kylian Mbappe, Presnel Kimpembe, Marco Veratti, Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos, Leandro Paredes, and, of course, Lionel Messi.
The only problem with all of this was that Messi is the face of Adidas, Nike’s chief rival in football. The Argentinian forward showed up to the shoot in Adidas boots and that couldn’t possibly go on the photoshoot. PSG tried several things to hide his shoes, like using a placard and putting it in front of Messi’s feet.
At one point, their French star Kylian Mbappe had to sit down on the floor to hide the shoes.

Lionel Messi and his form for PSG this season
Messi joined PSG after spending over 20 years at FC Barcelona. He hasn’t enjoyed the best start to life at Ligue 1 as the forward has struggled to emulate his numbers for Barca. Messi has played 13 matches in Ligue 1 and has only scored 2 goals. However, he does have six assists in that time.

Moreover, he has been in top form for the club in the UEFA Champions League, scoring five goals in five games.
