After kicking it off with FC Barcelona's academy at the age of 13, Guardiola made his senior debut in 1990. When he took on a managerial role, his first assignment was the Barcelona B team in 2007. A year later, he was promoted to manager of the senior team. In Barcelona's most glorious days, to lead them to records and titles including sextuple, Guardiola was at the helm. He also employed a disciplined and aggressive pressing style which clearly worked out well.
