Manchester City has had one of the most incredible rises to the top of the world of football as their owners invested heavily to get the club to this level in just 10 years. They signed the best players available and definitely signed the best manager in Spanish legend, Pep Guardiola.

Pep Guardiola speaks about City’s “almost perfect” 2020-21 UCL campaign
City got the closest to Champions League glory last season when they reached the final of the UCL. It was an all England final as Manchester City met Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea. While City were favorites to win, the game didn’t go like most people thought it would, and Chelsea ended up winning it all.
Pep Guardiola talked about that loss and whether City’s UCL campaign was a failure in his eyes. He spoke in a post-match interview after City’s match against Sporting Lisbon, as reported by Sky Sports.
“We make almost a perfect Champions League season last season. We play 13 or 14 games, I don’t know how much it is, we won 12. We draw one, already qualify here in Portugal against Porto, we played fantastically well, and we lost the final… ‘What a f**** failure is the team,’ and it’s not true,” Guardiola said.
