English striker and captain Harry Kane has made headlines throughout the transfer window with a rumored move away from Tottenham.
Having spent most of his senior career with Spurs, Kane has transformed into one of the most complete strikers in the game. While individual success in terms of goal scoring and accolades have been plenty, his contributions haven’t translated into a single trophy so far.

With Spurs continuing to be a middling side unlikely to grab a Champions League spot, Kane’s frustrations have grown over the years. Thus, the rampant transfer rumors in the transfer window.

Although many clubs might be interested, Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have been one of the favorites to land the 28-year-old. The rumors of a probable transfer only grew when Kane was left out of the first match-day battle against City.
Surprisingly however, the English captain was included in the Spurs side which faced off against Wolves. Although he didn’t start the game, Kane was brought in as a substitute by Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Wolves fans sing: “Harry Kane, he wants to f*** off”. Spurs supporters reply that he’s one of their own. Once he’s on, Wolves fans chant “There’s only one greedy b*****d” and “He’ll be a Manc in the morning”. The Spurs fans retort: “Harry Kane, he’s worth more than Wolves.”

While the 28-year-old was impressive in his limited time, Wolves fans did not spare Kane and Spurs fans. During the game, the home fans chanted some brutal slogans like, “Harry Kane, he wants to f** off” and “There’s only one greedy b**d” and “He’ll be a Manc in the morning.”
With a couple of weeks remaining, the 3-time PL Golden Boot winner’s future is still uncertain. But seeing him on the pitch might be a positive sign for Spurs fans all around the world.

Although Guardiola and City have made multiple bids, Levy has been stern on his decision to keep the English captain.

But all these rejections could be a ploy to get a higher price for the striker. If City do meet Spurs’ demands and agree on a fee accordingly, don’t be surprised if Kane departs from the club. Will Kane stay with Spurs this season or is he joining the reigning league champions?
