Neymar’s possible future in the MLS
Neymar won’t be the first star playing in Europe with Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne making the switch in the January transfer window. However, this will certainly be MLS’s biggest transfer in the competition’s history if it does happen, similar in stature to David Beckham’s move to LA Galaxy.
Beckham does own a club in the MLS currently, Inter Miami FC, meaning the club have sufficient financial backing. It’ll be interesting to see Neymar play for a big franchise like that, as no matter where he goes, his fans will follow.
