Neymar Jr. is one of the most famous footballers on the planet, and his name is globally recognized. Another celebrity with a similar level of fame is American rapper Kanye West, who recently dropped his 10th studio album, Donda, amidst great success.

The pair met in Paris when Kanye visited the Paris Saint Germain training ground on Wednesday, and Neymar had a gift ready for him. Neymar gave the American Rapper a PSG shirt with his name “Ye” written on the back, along with Neymar’s iconic number 10.

West was in Paris for the Paris Fashion Week, but he made some time to visit Neymar Jr, who is still recovering from a nasty ankle injury that he picked up while playing for PSG in Ligue 1. He also posted a photo with the rapper on Instagram, captioning the photo, “Nice to meet u legend.”

Neymar and his injury problems at PSG

The Brazilian still holds the record for being the most expensive player in the history of the game, but he hasn’t produced an output that justifies his price tag. Neymar has had a load of injury problems at the club, and he is currently injured too. However, this injury was caused by a bad tackle by a Saint Ettiene player in November.

He isn’t supposed to return before February as he recovers from the ankle ligament damage that he suffered after that horrible tackle. This just adds to the list of injuries that he has suffered during his time in France. Neymar has played 130 games for PSG since his transfer from FC Barcelona in 2017. That’s only 53% of all matches that PSG have played since then, and fans have criticized him for that.
