Manchester United fans had a good weekend after seeing their team win against Norwich City in the Premier League. The win moved them up to fifth place in the Premier League, and the club’s hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League are now back up again.
United’s marquee player Cristiano Ronaldo made the headlines again as it was his hat trick that helped the club navigate a difficult match. It all seemed easy when United went up by 2-0 after a tap-in and a fantastic header. However, Norwich got a goal back before the first half and then Pukki scored another in the second half to equalize.
In the end, Ronaldo stepped up again with a fantastic free-kick that helped seal the three points for United. However, it wasn’t all sunshine for the Reds.

Paul Pogba was booed by Manchester United fans after full-time
When United players were walking off the pitch after applauding the supporters, the fans started booing Paul Pogba. Pogba reacted instantly and cupped his ears, enticing even more boos from the club’s faithful. It was a sharp fall from grace for the French World Cup winner who has seen much better days at the club.
Pogba is still the club’s record signing and came through the ranks at the club’s academy. He started this season in fantastic fashion too, registering four assists in one game in United’s first league match. However, he got injured and missed four months of the season.
Since then, United have been knocked out of all competitions and Pogba has publicly talked about his desire to leave the club and win trophies.

Pogba is not satisfied at the club
In an interview with L’Equipe last month, Pogba stated his dissatisfaction with the club. The Frenchman also said that he wants to win trophies, but that it’s okay if it is with another club.
“You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all. This year it is dead. We won’t win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or at another club, I want to win trophies,” Pogba said.
