Manchester City are in the market for a new striker. Their former talisman Sergio Aguero left the club for Barcelona, and Gabriel Jesus has failed to prove himself. Hence, they have been linked with a big-money move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Kane is the captain of the England national team and has consistently been one of the best players in the league. He was undoubtedly the best last season as he scored the most goals and got the most assists in the league. However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is a fierce negotiator, and won’t let Kane go easily.
Man City have taken an interest in Solihull Moors striker Kyle Hudlin – the tallest outfield professional player in Britain at 6ft 9in.
City Representatives watched the forward on Saturday and have joined a number of other interested clubs.

A new alternative for City is Solihull Moors FC striker Kyle Hudlin. The 21-year-old is the tallest outfield professional player in Britain at 6ft 9in. He has a good return of scoring a goal every 200 minutes in the fifth tier of English football.
It’s hard to see him fit into Pep Guardiola’s system at Manchester City, but maybe the Spaniard is looking for a different option. Hudlin will give him a target-man to aim for who can capitalize on the wonderful crosses from City’s wide-men.
However, the first choice will always be Harry Kane, and City are reportedly readying a 150 million euro bid. City just broke the British transfer record for any player after signing Jack Grealish for 100 million pounds. If they do sign Kane, it’s hard to see any other team winning the Premier League.

Spurs finished seventh in the league last season, and it was a sharp fall from their form in previous years. However, they could’ve fallen further without Kane and his strike partner Son Heung-Min.
🗣 "They are going to lean on him, he is going to be the focal point."
Former Tottenham defender Stephen Kelly says that Heung Min Son is a key player for them this season given the uncertainty around the future of Harry Kane 🗝 pic.twitter.com/FW1sF33Yrz

Kane scored 23 goals in the league and provided 14 assists. While, Son ended his campaign with 17 goals and 10 assists. Son started excellently this season, too, as his goal was enough for Spurs to beat Manchester City 1-0 in their first match of the season. The win over City provided ammunition to Spurs fans as they sang, “Are you watching, Harry Kane?” during their PL match.
