The 2021 transfer window has been wild this season. After confirmed transfers of Lionel Messi and Romelu Lukaku, multiple names like Kylian Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo are still being rumoured for possible transfers.

Ronaldo who has been one of the most important players for Juventus only has a year left on his contract. While Juve and the Portuguese have had some success domestically, they have had their fair share of struggles in the European competitions.

PSG not looking to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo as Mbappe replacement

The transfer window is seeing one of the best young superstars in Kylian Mbappe being linked for a move away from the French capital. With the 22-year-old reportedly is interested in moving away from Paris for a dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

With a possible vacancy in the striker position, PSG should be looking for a striker. Ronaldo could have been a great option. But the French giants are reportedly not interested in bringing the 36-year-old.

While Ronaldo is a generational goal-scoring talent the 5-time Ballon D’or winner is on a hefty contract. With a contract that pays him 31 million per year, only a super European team can afford the superstar. After signing free agents like Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos PSG might not be able to afford such high wages right now.

The Parisians have a super-team right now and Ronaldo could have been the icing on the cake. A team containing Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar might have been a dream team. But bringing in Ronaldo without breaking FFP looks pretty much impossible.

With the Portuguese reportedly eying a move away from Juve, getting potential suitors right now might be a tough task. Where do you think will the 36-year-old end up in?
