The world of football is constantly changing and evolving every single day. Teams are trying to find the next best star to elevate their status, and this was evident when French club Paris Saint Germain paid 180 million euros to sign 17-year-old, Kylian Mbappe.
The club was ridiculed for the amount of money they spent on a young player, but a few years down the line and the transfer fee seems to be justified. Mbappe has been one of the best players this season and has carried PSG to the top of Ligue 1.
He was doing the same in the UEFA Champions League too, but his campaign came to an early end when PSG was knocked out of the competition by Real Madrid in the Round-of-16.

Mbappe reveals that he watches Real Madrid matches
This UCL tie was the biggest match-up during this edition of the UCL, and it did not disappoint. Mbappe had been heavily linked to a move to Real Madrid, and he proved his class again by scoring PSG’s two goals in the two-legged tie. Even though it wasn’t enough, in the end, he showed Madrid what they might miss out on, if they fail to win his signature.
Mbappe seems to want a move to Madrid too, as he revealed that he watches a few games of the club. The French world cup winner spoke about Madrid’s bad performances domestically and how the club always turns it on in the UCL every time.
“You can see Real Madrid drawing to Leganes 1-1 or losing in the CDR to Espanyol, but when the Champions League comes, they just change,” Mbappe said.
