The World Cup in Qatar is just months away, and the USMNT is ready for the tournament. They missed out on it in 2018, but Christian Pulisic and his team ensured that a situation like that never arose again. However, only time will tell if this young team can actually go on a deep run in the World Cup.
Pulisic has been in great form for his country but has struggled with Chelsea. The USMNT aren’t a finished product either as Gregg Berhalter’s men still don’t have a reliable striker or a decisive number one to play in goal. As a result, the next few months are going to be vital for their prospects in the World Cup.

However, despite the odds being stacked against them, the USMNT won’t give up. In an interview with FOX Sports, Pulisic revealed that the USMNT is confident and hungry. The Chelsea star added that the team is going in with the mentality of winning the World Cup in Qatar.
“We’re by no means favourites going into the tournament, but we’re a confident team, and we’re a hungry team. We’re going to go in with the mentality and mindset of wanting to win the World Cup. We will go in and believe it. Because if you believe, I think you can do it,” he said.
