However, that all changed, and no one was happier about it than Buccs fans. People did speculate that maybe it was Brady’s conversation with Cristiano Ronaldo that made him change his mind about retiring. He announced his return just a day after Ronaldo’s hattrick.

Brady has some unfinished business

Regardless, he’s back now and he’ll want to add another super-bowl victory to his seven wins. Brady did win the super-bowl with Tampa Bay in his first season with the club and revealed that he has unfinished business in a Twitter post.

“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa,” Brady wrote.

This will be his 23rd season in the NFL, and the greatest quarterback of all time will certainly look to add something more to his legacy this season.
