New reports coming in from Real Madrid state that the club has potentially stepped away from signing Borussia Dortmund superstar, Erling Haaland. The Norwegian has been among the best strikers in the world for the past two seasons, and his age only adds more to the mix.
Haaland is still only 21-years-old and has already made a name for himself. However, Madrid reportedly believes that he will end up in the Premier League next season as his relatively low release clause kicks in during the summer transfer window.

Erling Haaland might find himself at Manchester United
Journalist Josep Pedrerol (who specializes in transfer news related to the Los Blancos) has revealed the club’s thoughts about Haaland’s future, which involves only one destination, England.
This will be amazing news for Premier League giants Manchester United, who have set sight on the striker ever since he was at RB Salzburg. However, a move to England never worked out then, and the forward has set the stage on fire in the Bundesliga since. Notably, he has scored 13 goals for Borussia Dortmund in 10 league games this season.

It is no secret that United has been struggling a lot this season. Hence, a move for Haaland will make sense given the age of their two main strikers, Edinson Cavani (34) and Cristiano Ronaldo (36). Nevertheless, both the veterans have proved to be United’s best players, during this disastrous season, with Ronaldo as their top scorer in 2021-22 so far.
However, despite their prolific form, a move for Erling Haaland is too good to miss out on.
The prospective clubs in the running for Haaland
However, United aren’t the only club is in the running for Haaland, as Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City both will soon cast their bids for the Norwegian.
