FC Barcelona was once the biggest club in the world just a few years ago, but they have dropped a long way since then. However, things are going well at the club right now with their former player Xavi being the manager of the club.

Barca’s season started horribly as they were languishing in ninth place in La Liga when they had to sack their manager, Ronald Koeman. However, things went shockingly wrong in Europe as the club was knocked out of the UCL, and dropped down into the Europa League.

FC Barcelona manager Xavi thinks Pedri is the best talent in the world

Thankfully, the club rose to fourth place in the league, with players like Pedri and Jordi Alba performing incredibly well. The former, 19, has been especially wonderful this season, and his manager Xavi appreciates his young star. After another spectacular performance from him against Valencia, Xavi was ecstatic and appreciated his wunderkind’s talent.

There is no talent greater than Pedri in the world and he is only 19,” Xavi said.

Notably, he scored a spectacular goal in the match against Valencia after coming on as a substitute, but it was later credited to the new Barca signing, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But all in all, the way Pedri is going right now, he’ll certainly be one of the best players in the world in the future.

However, it’s hard to see them pipping Real Madrid for the title as the Los Blancos have a lead of 15 points over them right now, but their top-four hopes are more or less secured. It’ll be interesting to see where the club will finish at the end of the season.
