AlphaTauri completed 308 laps over the three-day testing at Barcelona. Gasly finished 8th in the timesheet ahead of Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo. Even though the Frenchman crashed on the last day of testing, the team believe they have assembled enough data.

He added, “Unfortunately, I locked up my tyres during the morning running and damaged the car, but testing is about finding the limits and we’ve still been able to gather a lot of valuable data over the three days.”
