The world came together to celebrate the birth of Formula 1’s most successful driver Lewis Hamilton. The Stevenage-born Mercedes man turned 38 on the 7th of January. Among many, there was a surprise Russian model also wishing Hamilton on his special day. The same Russian model who was in a relationship with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo for five years.
The new Al Nassr FC man dated a Russian model popularly known as Irina Shayk. Shayk and Ronaldo started dating in 2010 before splitting up five years later in 2015. Shayk was Ronaldo’s most prominent relationship before he met his current girlfriend Georgina Rodr?guez.

Following the breakup, the Mercedes man and Shayk were spotted together at the Cannes Film Festival and on other occasions in 2016. This sparked rumors of them dating. Hamilton is a vocal activist for animal rights among other issues. This is exactly why PETA has been publicly persuading Hamilton to speak up against F1 owners Liberty Media for funding the Iditarod race. A race that is a 1000-mile extreme weather dog race that takes place in Alaska responsible for a lot of dog deaths.
In their latest attempt, they wished Hamilton on Twitter and revealed their gift in the caption. The caption read, ?One word from vegan F1 champion Sir @LewisHamilton could stop #Formula1 owner, Liberty Media, from funding the deadly #Iditarod dog race. We sent him a megaphone for his birthday to inspire him to speak up for the ?underdogs? forced to pull sleds in the freezing snow!??
