Pogba noted in his documentary, “My thought process is to show Manchester (United) that they made a mistake in waiting to give me a contract. And to show other clubs that Manchester had made a mistake in not offering me a contract.”
The French international further added, “How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that.” (H/T: The Athletic)
After this report emerged, fans took to social media to respond to Pogba’s opinion. Several United fans weren’t really pleased with Pogba’s club performances in the last six years. And Pogba received some hostile reactions following these comments.
He has nothing to prove to anyone at United,Man United is way bigger than him,we have seen great players come and go at United.Ronaldo is a bigger brand than him.

Lukaku showed us what we were missing at Inter. Chelsea signed him last year, and here we are today.
EPL is not his level. Serie A is. So we won’t be bothered and we wish him the best. £150k per week seems about right for a player of his level not £300k.

You earn £290k a week. You play one match and gets injured for 1 – 2 months. Meanwhile, you contribute less to the team and yet you want to be the highest paid player in the league.
Manchester United made a mistake by signing you in the first place.
