Was Neymar Jr. a part of Money Heist (La Casa de Papel)?
The Brazilian star doesn’t have a lot of acting cameos, but his surprise entry in season three of the popular Netflix show, Money Heist, has won hearts all around. However, reports state that the makers of the Spanish crime drama removed the scenes, fearing any backlash, following Neymar’s off-the-field controversies.
Neymar Jr appears as a monk in his first appearance in mainstream cinema. His character was called Joao and was from Sao Paolo. However, unlike his real-life personality, Joao doesn’t like football or parties. While living a calm and sedate life as a monk might not suit Neymar, he played his part very well in episodes six and eight of season three.
Additionally, Neymar also made an appearance in the Hollywood movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage. It’ll be interesting to see where his acting career takes him next.
