This week’s UCL clash between Manchester City and PSG had some of the best players in the world go head-to-head. The game finished with a 2-1 victory for Manchester City, who played significantly well. The home fans loved City’s performance as Etihad erupted at the second goal.

What made headlines, however, was a rather adorable but thought-provoking moment after the game. Post-match, a young fan was seen running onto the pitch, hoping to get his favorite star’s shirt. To much surprise, even with the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar on the pitch, the kid ran past all, to meet his icon, Bernardo Silva.

Young kid ignores Lionel Messi

Significantly, as the game ended, Blue Moon echoed through the stands after a stunning performance. As always, Silva played a pivotal role in helping City overcome the odds. Thus, after the game, a young kid ran to the center of the pitch asking for his jersey. Some may have expected the young lad to approach Messi, Mbappe, or Neymar, but the kid showed he was a true blue. Breaching security, he went straight to Silva and took home back a lovely memento and a memory he won’t forget.

As PSG took the lead through Mbappe, City was left shocked in the first half. However, things took a u-turn right after. The Portuguese winger wove his magic, which gave City the victory.

While Raheem Sterling’s tap-in drew the game, Silva showed the fans what he is capable of. As Mahrez lofted the ball into the penalty box, Silva produced a moment of magic by caressing the ball to the path of Jesus, who stroked it in. It was a sensational piece of play from the Portuguese playmaker. Moreover, he attempted 47 passes in the match and completed every one of them. That’s the form he is in right now.
