One Bayern Munich star has taken it upon himself to help support a cause and raise awareness about an issue in dire need of the spotlight.

Bayern Munich’s forward, Serge Gnabry, has painted one individual nail in his finger to reference a campaign known as the “Polished Man”, which was founded by “YGAP”. Ygap is an “international organisation that creates positive change by making entrepreneurship more inclusive.”

They have programs that run in countries around the globe, and “Polished Man” is one of those campaigns. The organization was created to raise awareness of the issue of child abuse. Notably, Gnabry isn’t the only celebrity who has stood up for the cause, as actors like Chris Hemsworth and Tyler Blackburn have also worked with the organization.

Polished Man reveal why they use men to raise awareness

The website also talked about why they take the help of male personalities to raise awareness. “Polished Man is not about pointing the finger when it comes to violence, it’s about empowering everyone to become part of the solution,” the website said.

They also talked about the fact that men have been on both ends of this violence and they rarely ask for help, or step forward and talk about it. They want to create a world with less violence against children and they feel men need to take an active role in preventing those acts of violence to help accomplish that.
