Barcelona legend shower praises on Memphis Depay
The 27-year old has been in red hot form for both club and country this season. Be it rescuing points against Athletic for Barcelona or scoring a hattrick against Turkey for the Dutch national team; the ex-Lyon talisman has been simply outstanding.

Barcelona legend Samuel Eto’o echoed the same sentiments in an interview at a TV show. Eto’o heaped praises on Memphis Depay and expects him to be the leader in Messi’s absence. He said, “Memphis has thrown the team on his back, without Messi, I think he will be the leader“

Kluivert believes Koeman has Laporta’s trust
Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman’s future has been under a lot of speculation since the start of the season. There have been complaints from players like Pjanic who criticized the Dutchman for his terrible man-management. Despite the noise around the manager, ex Barcelona forward Justin Kluivert came to Koeman’s defense. He said, “I think Laporta trusts Koeman, that’s why he stayed. At the moment he is the best coach for Barça.“
Barcelona are currently undergoing a rebuild and Memphis taking responsibility to guide the team in these tough times is a great sign for the Spanish club.
