Conor McGregor might buy three football clubs
The Irishman had previously entertained the possibility of buying Manchester United from the Glazers a while ago. Surprisingly, the self-proclaimed United fan does have other clubs on his wishlist too.
In a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account, McGregor revealed that he was considering buying Scottish club Celtic and Premier League club Chelsea too. He also confirmed that he will definitely buy a football club in the future, but he didn’t mention when.
“I do not speak in jest. I am exploring this, as I said. Celtic from Dermot Desmond, Manchester United from the Glazers, and now the recently up for sale Chelsea football club. All being explored. A football franchise purchase is in my future, make no mistake about it,” McGregor said.
