The player has been absent from the team’s training session this month, recovering from a muscular injury. With the side set to play Al Hilal in their final fixture of the Riyadh Season Cup, it seems like Luis Castro’s side could field the Portuguese star to provide him with some much-needed game time.

Cristiano and his men will be eager to pay back Al Hilal during their upcoming encounter. The last game between these two heavyweights saw Al Hilal run riot over their opponents, registering a 3-0 win. However, Al Nassr will be high on momentum following their 6-0 win over Inter Miami this week and will look to close the mid-season break with a win.

Al Nassr fans have received big news before their clash against Al Hilal with club captain Cristiano Ronaldo set to make his comeback for the team in the coming days. Saudi media outlet NewsNow4Sports broke the news on their official X handle stating, “Cristiano returns to Al Nassr training after recovering from his injury.” 

Al Nassr head coach Luis Castro also provided an updated on the situation this week during his press conference following the clash against Inter Miami. Castro stated, “Cristiano is in the last period of his return, and within 5 or 6 days, he will return.” While Cristiano has been out with an injury for a while now, his side might need his help in their upcoming fixture. The side is up against the mighty Al Hilal who has been on a red hot run this season.

Al Nassr looks to topple Al Hilal
