The Saudi giants have three important league games that could define their season
After the disappointing result, Al Ittihad will now focus on finishing as high as possible on the league table. They have managed to get some sort of form from the last season after Marcelo Gallardo was announced as the new manager. They are currently fifth in the Saudi Pro League table. However, this position could drastically improve, or worsen in the upcoming matches.
Their next game is against strugglers Al Raed. Al Ittihad has only won 3 games in the whole season. Besides, three days after the Al Raed game, they will face high-flying Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. Hence, Karim Benzema and the team need to carry a winning momentum for the game against them. They face 12th-placed Al Tai which again they will hope to win.
