The NHL also shared a glimpse of him on Instagram by sharing a picture of him, with a caption. “Hey hockey fans…spotted at the @senators game is Mr. Deadpool himself. xoxo, Gossip Girl.” This sent netizens into a frenzy, who are desperate to see Ryan buy the NHL side.

Many couldn’t hold back, and they started writing their minds in the comments section. One fan said, “Just let him buy already.” Another fan said, “‘Purchase me, Senpai!’ – Sens fans.” While others were optimistic about him buying the team, as this one said, “Future Sens owner.” One more said, “The next Senators owner.”

Reynolds isn’t the only one who is eyeing the takeover, as other star aristocrats are also keen to buy the team. But one fan didn’t want it to be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson; “Please don’t let The Rock buy the team.” Another one wrote, “Well if he’s the future owner, he has to be there.” while a user opined, “Sell this man the team and it’ll bring more fans guaranteed.”

It seems fans really want the Deadpool actor to buy the NHL side. This must be coming from Reynolds’ ownership skills that he is currently exhibiting at Wrexham. The Welsh side has really flourished under his management. Hence, it shows Reynolds is the desired man for the job as Senators fans are hoping to get him on board.

It is being said that the Ottawa Senators have received a huge bid of $925 million from an unknown party. Many reckon that it was Ryan Reynolds himself; however, nothing has been confirmed regarding the real bidder.

The story seemed real after he recently acquired a chunk of cash. The latter recently made a billion-dollar sale, thus selling his phone company, Mint Mobile, to T-Mobile for a massive $1.3 billion. Also, the deal gives Ryan a major boost of $337.5 million pre-tax, which has doubled his net worth.
