Wrexham AFC’s star striker Paul Mullin is in significant form this season. Mullin has notched 36 goals in the league for the club, helping them to be in a position to get promoted by winning the title. The striker recently shared the unfortunate news of his son being diagnosed with autism. Since the news broke off, Mullin has made efforts to raise awareness for autism.

As part of his efforts, he joined hands with the charity Your Space Wales recently on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the foundation. He is now the ambassador for the charity foundation. Recently, superstar UFC double champion Conor McGregor joined hands with the foundation and donated a significant amount to the cause.

The former double UFC champion started a new venture, Forged Irish Stout. As part of the promotion, the team was in Wrexham ahead of the Wrexham AFC’s game against Yeovil Town at the Racecourse Stadium. They distributed their drinks to the Red Dragon fans on the iconic The Turf outside the Racecourse Stadium.

McGregor, through his venture, presented a cheque of around $12,426 to the Your Space Wales foundation in the presence of Paul Mullin. They also donated around $2,500 raised from selling the pints of Forged Irish Stout. The Notorious took to Twitter to share the news of becoming part of the autism charity, hailing his new partnership with Wrexham.

McGregor wrote“So great to see Forged Irish Stout visit Wrexham AFC and The Turf Hotel to support the amazing Your Space Wales foundation, which raises awareness and support for autism. Great day, great town, great cause!” The foundation thanked the MMA fighter for his gesture, which will help the charity enormously.

Paul Mullin won the top scorer of the National League last season. He also won the Player of the Season last year for the National League. However, the hopes of the striker to win the back-to-back Golden Boot are diminishing. With two games remaining, Mullin is five goals behind the league leader Macaulay Langstaff.

It will be an uphill task for Mullin to overturn the deficit in the final two games. Despite this, Mullin had a stellar season for the club, scoring 44 goals in all competitions. The Red Dragon fans will hope Mullin helps the club get three vital points from the remaining two games to take the club to Football League Two.
