Cristiano Ronaldo is a UFC fan through and through. Recently, he established a wonderful friendship with  Israel Adesanya. At the moment, Adesanya’s professional life is going through a tumultuous time as he lost his middleweight belt to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 having regained it just five months earlier. Soon afterward, ‘Stylebender’ decided to take a break from the sport. However, it seems that Adesanya has changed his plans after meeting the soccer icon.

The video of Adesanya and Ronaldo meeting each other in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, melted the hearts of both UFC and soccer fans. Now, the Nigerian fighter has revealed that Ronaldo’s influence has made him rethink his comeback.

After meeting Cristiano Ronaldo, Israel Adesanya feels tempted

Soon after meeting Cristiano Ronaldo, Israel Adesanya took to his social media handle to praise the greatness of the Portuguese star. He shared the video of him meeting Ronaldo on his Instagram story and wrote, “I don’t keep up with sports; I follow greatness.” Now the former UFC middleweight champion has made yet another surprising Instagram post where he mentioned that he is tempted to make his comeback and fight in Ronaldo’s current home, Saudi Arabia.

Adesanya wrote, “I always appreciate the love from greats who recognize the realness! Saudi Arabia in March…tempting hahaha.“ The meeting of Ronaldo and Adesanya also paved the way for the world to find out that Ronaldo is a huge follower of UFC featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski.

CR7 was worried about Alexander Volkanovski

When Adesanya and Ronaldo met each other, the Portuguese expressed concern over Volkanovski, who faced a terrible loss against UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Volkanovski and Makhachev came face-to-face for their rematch at UFC 294. Unfortunately, ‘The Great’ lost the bout in the very first round via a head kick. When the duo fought each other for the first time, the bout ended in a decision in favor of Makhachev. Back then, many believed that Volkanovski was robbed. Nonetheless, his recent loss against the Dagestani fighter was a tremendous shock to many.

After watching the clash, Ronaldo was worried about the well-being of Volkanovski, and he asked Adesanya about the same. ‘Stylebender’, who is both a friend and teammate of the Australian fighter, assured Ronaldo that he was fine. Being a huge fan, Ronaldo might be hugely disappointed to watch Volkanovski face a humiliating loss.
