That was mainly due to its high-profile ownership. With the club’s long-term goals already in place, they’re now ready to explore the cinematic avenue of the sports universe.

It’s safe to say that the Angel City FC board has taken a major decision ahead of their second season in the NWSL. The name of the three-part documentary series is simply ‘ANGEL CITY’. The upcoming HBO series is directed by Arlene Nelson. Surprisingly, Natalie Portman’s name also reflects on the list of executive producers.

Apart from that, the fans are already in awe of Natalie Portman’s words in the trailer. She says, “Sometimes you dream impossible dreams and then you kind of let them go away. The trailer indicates that the three-part documentary series will drop for the fans in May.
