Ohanian who has been a key supporter of soccer went into a rant back in 2019 talking about how he would like to own an NWSL franchise. The star’s tweets caught the attention of USWNT star Alexis Morgan who told the millionaire that she could help him in his endeavors.

With the rapid growth across the sport, Ohanian’s Angel City FC was recently evaluated for over $100 million. Ohanian took to his official X (Twitter) account to thank everyone before giving a special mention to Alex Morgan.

Alexis posted an image of himself with the caption, “Some fashion is timeless”. Serena Williams quickly responded to her husband’s tweet as she replied to his tweet, “Seriously not out of style”. The couple’s words can be easily interpreted as a dig towards Serena’s rivals Simona Halep and Maria Sharapova. Both stars faced the ban hammer after being found guilty of doping, with the word ‘fashion’ used to describe doping practices.

While some fans believe the series of digs at Halep is snarky, Serena Williams has faced her fair share of discrimination with the doping tests.
