For the second time this season, Real Madrid came out on top against Barcelona. With the victory, Real Madrid now enjoys an 11-point lead in the league and is on the cusp of another La Liga title. Following the midweek victory over Manchester City, it’s been a successful week for the 14-time UCL champions. Interestingly, the superstar duo of Novak Djokovic and Tom Brady were spotted at Santiago Bernabeu as well. And it seems they were not allowed to leave El-Clasico empty-handed.

Real Madrid’s official X (formerly Twitter) account uploaded images of Tom Brady, Djokovic, and actor Andy Garcia receiving their own jerseys from Florentino Perez. The white shirt had their names on the back, with a number as well. In Brady’s case, the number was the iconic #12 that he donned in his NFL career. Djokovic and Garcia received the #1 jerseys.

While Djokovic is an AC Milan supporter, nothing much is known regarding Tom Brady’s allegiance. But, post-retirement, the former quarterback has dived into the soccer world after acquiring minority shares in Birmingham. As such, the 46-year-old has been spotted appearing at various high-profile soccer games, notably Manchester United vs. Tottenham in 2022.

Moreover, unlike NFL supporters, soccer fans might not be familiar with Tom Brady’s iconic ball-throwing celebration. But they received a picture-perfect rendition of the same from Vinicius Junior. It’s safe to say that the New England Patriots icon enjoyed the act.

Against Barcelona, Real Madrid were trailing 1-0 until the 18th minute. It was at this moment that Los Blancos were awarded a penalty. Vinicius stepped up and slotted the penalty to level things up for Madrid. Following this, he celebrated in a way that pretty much mirrored what Tom Brady used to do back in the day. He threw an imaginary ball forward and this caught Brady’s attention.

The NFL icon immediately shared the moment on his Instagram story. He wrote, “My favorite goal celebration ever. But I’m biased,” with a laughing emoji. Vinicius Junior also reposted Brady’s post with the caption, “For you my bro!!!” For Vinicius, this match continued his rich vein of form after picking up the La Liga Player of the Month award in March. Regardless, the celebrations didn’t end there, as Tom Brady joined the Madrid locker room to celebrate the thrilling victory.
