English Premier League soccer club, Manchester United has recently been in the public eye. After an average last few seasons, the Red Devils have finally gained some momentum this season. The new head coach, Erik Ten Hag, has been an ultimate blessing for the Red Devils. Last November, the Glazers publicly declared that they would be open to selling the club. Prior to the FIFA World Cup, Manchester United was still on a shaky run of form.

However, after a few weeks of good results on the pitch, the Glazers have reportedly changed their mind on the same.

The Glazers are willing to wait!

The Glazers, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are very impressed with Erik Ten Hag. The Dutch soccer coach has brought a sense of stability to the club. The fans also claim that they see a lot more confidence in the players. Ten Hag has also been instrumental in improving the quality of soccer on the pitch.

After looking at all of this, the Glazers reportedly have a new thought. ESPN suggests that Avram and Joel Glazer are not open to selling the club anymore. The businessmen duo would only consider investments as minority stakes. A few sources also suggest that the Glazers are doing this on purpose.

A high finish this season could see the club’s value skyrocket even further. The Sun believes that the Glazers would like a $10 billion bid for the Red Devils, and are prepared to wait for it. Manchester United is still in the title race for this season. Ten Hag’s side currently sits at third, eight points behind league leaders, Arsenal.

It’s very likely that Ten Hag will achieve a second-placed finish this season, if not first. The Glazers could then quote for a higher amount from any potential bidder. However, the fans are confused because Avram Glazer was in Qatar last month, to reportedly talk about selling the club.

Manchester United fans want the Glazers out!

A few weeks before the World Cup, the American business family announced that they’d be open to selling the Red Devils. This decision was taken after below-par performances in the transfer market and the fan’s constant hatred. A fan also clicked a picture of Avram Glazer in Qatar last month. The Glazer family was reportedly looking to attract interest for a bid from the Middle East. However, they’ve seemingly halted their plans keeping a bigger sale in mind.

But the fans desperately want them to sell the club. The Red Devils fans have always been against the Glazers. This is mainly due to the lack of relevant investment in the club. The board has showcased its incompetence on multiple occasions in the past. Manchester United fans feel that their club now needs a change after struggling to challenge for the title for almost a decade.
