Watt said, “I do have to say Lionel Messi is Lionel Messi. What an unbelievable talented player.” Furthermore, he also spoke of his connection with both soccer & NFL. Watt explained, “I do play both sides of the fence now, which with my Burnley connection. But I’ll give it to Messi.” Last year, he and his wife Keali Watt, who also happens to be a USWNT player, bought a minority stake in Premier League club Burnley.
