Jennifer Lopez was not happy with her performance with Shakira

In a documentary called ‘Halftime’, which was released on Netflix in June 2022, Lopez opened up about her thoughts on the Super Bowl performance and reveals that it was actually “the worst idea in the world.”

Firstly, Jennifer didn’t like the idea of two artists performing at such an event. “Having two people perform at the Super Bowl is the worst idea in the world and it was,” she said. The time constraints of the performance were a big problem for the American singer.

“We have six minutes – 30 seconds of a song and if we take one minute, that’s it, we have five minutes left,” Jennifer said. “We have to have our moment. It’s not going to be a f***ing dance revue”. Despite Lopez’s negative comments, there is no denying that their Super Bowl performance was a huge success, and it is something that fans will remember for years to come.

Shakira’s message to Rihanna before her halftime performance
