Back in May, NFL legend JJ Watt made inroads into the soccer universe. He acquired a minority share in Burnley with his wife Kealia Watt. This season, Burnley will look to establish themselves back in the English Premier League. While the soccer preseason is underway, JJ Watt is gearing up to support his new team. Just hours ago, he commented on a viral advertisement involving Kylian Mbappe.
French soccer has taken a creative approach to draw eyeballs toward the women’s soccer team. Considering the upcoming Women’s World Cup, French soccer will look to replicate the same amount of support the men’s team received during the World Cup in December.

The advertisement includes clips of glorious moments of the French soccer team. Through the creative use of ‘VFX’, they’ve attempted to make a comparison between the men’s and women’s soccer teams by putting women players’ faces over the clips. Basically, they are trying to portray that women’s soccer is as good as men’s soccer.
The advertisement ends with a heartwarming message. It says, “At Orange, we support les Bleu‘e’s”. French soccer stars like Olivier Giroud, Kingsley Coman, Kylian Mbappe, and many more appeared in the advertisement. Without a doubt, it has gone viral on social media. Popular in the sports fanbase, Joe Pompliano reposted the advertisement.

Just hours ago, JJ Watt also expressed his thoughts on it. On Twitter, he wrote, “Incredible ad”. Since he acquired a minority stake in Burnley, he has been quite active on social media. While he tries to build bonds with soccer fans, there’s a soccer player in his own home itself. His wife and co-investor in Burnley, Kealia Watt is a well-known star in the National Women’s Soccer League.
It is a new re-beginning for JJ Watt’s team in the English Premier League. Relegated two seasons ago, Vincent Kompany and his young squad will look to light up the Premier League with some attractive soccer.

The 2023-24 season will be Burnley’s 142 season in the English Premier League. Along with Burnley, even Sheffield United is making a return to the top flight. Ex-Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany calls the shots at Burnley. After a successful season in the EFL Championship, they are now strong contenders for staying up in the Premier League this season.
The squad will thoroughly miss Ashley Barnes. Players like Jay Rodriguez, Wout Weghorst, and Michael Obafemi can replace him in the striker role. There are other noteworthy players like Manuel Benson, Anass Zaroury, and a much-improved Josh Brownhill in the squad too. The Clarets will kick off their Premier League campaign against Manchester City at home in no time.
