Fans were happy to see the singer performing live after almost seven years. She kicked off the halftime show with her famous song B***h Better Have My Money, followed by Where Have You Been and Only Girl. The singer signed off her performance with Diamonds before singing her other hits like Work, Wild Thoughts, All of The Lights, Run This Town, and Umbrella. Overall, it was an epic performance by Rihanna, leaving the likes of Morgan and Rapinoe amazed.

It was not only Rapinoe, but her USWNT teammate Morgan also who appreciated the performance of the Barbadian singer. Morgan praised the singer, “Back like she never left RIHANNA,” on Twitter.

Rihanna admitted earlier that she thought twice before accepting to perform on the stage at Super Bowl. She is a mother to a nine-year-old boy, and her motherhood inspired her to take the offer to perform, according to the singer.

Mahomes became MVP, completing 21 of 27 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed six times for 44 additional yards. Chiefs also became the second team to win the Super Bowl, coming back from a 10-point deficit at halftime.
