It turns out David Beckham isn’t a fan of roasts. The former English captain was speaking to the famous talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and suddenly taken down the memory lane. Beckham was asked about his opinion on Tom Brady’s recent trolling on the comic show “The Roast of Tom Brady.” The former NFL legend was subject to multiple jokes which also included his personal life. However, having a bit of experience in such a thing, Beckham gave an apprehensive take on the show.
Kimmel asked if the Inter Miami boss would also consider being on a similar hot seat in the future. Beckham had no hesitation in refusing and said, “No absolutely. The whole concept you know, it’s quite funny, it was very funny,” acknowledging the comic part of the show despite a refusal. However, he also went on to say that the type of show was not his cup of coffee. He further stated, “I was like are you okay?” “he’s more than okay, but yeah, it was it was hard to watch,” citing the pinching humor involved in the show.
Meanwhile, aired on Netflix on May 5th, the show was anchored by popular Hollywood comedian Kevin Hart. Getting some mixed reviews, the show even led Tom Brady to apologize to former celebrity wife Gisele Bundchen according to reports. The jokes also included his looks and personal life, making Brady a bit uncomfortable.

Hence Beckham also confessed that he messaged the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback to inquire about his well-being. It is also a well-known fact that Brady and Beckham are friends, with both of them seen hanging out earlier. However, what made Beckham concerned about Brady to send such a message? Beckham already knows how it feels to be a part of it.
David Beckham’s unique roast comes back to life
Tom Brady was subject to some embarrassing trolls including his divorce with Bundchen. Even his teammate Julian Edelman said, “Who’s laughing now, Tom? Not you because your face can’t move and you don’t have a sense of humor,” commenting on his expressions that night. This would also have reminded David Beckham of a relatable encounter. He along with Posh was a part of Comic Relief in 2001 when they were asked a set of uncomfortable questions.
Ali G, a character played by comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen, was the interviewer. He shot some dark-humored questions and included a few queries about their son Brooklyn, who was 2 years old then. An almost 10 minute-show also got mixed reactions then. Nevertheless, the couple took it with a lighter heart, but it would not motivate David to go for such satire in the future. What do you think about the soccer legend’s take?
